APX 1502 Presentation Video Scaler

Function

The APX 1502 is a multiple input video scaler with 4 composite, 4 S- Video and 4 VGA inputs, any, of

which, can be switched audio follow video to a high resolution output(s).

Video signals only can be scaled to digital signals with the following resolutions;

SVGA

800X600

XGA

1024X768

SXGA

1280X1024

16:9

480P

16:9

576P

16:9

720P

Computer signals can be switched from any of the 4 VGA inputs. High bandwidth inputs and outputs

allow these signals to be passed through at their native resolution(s) without degradation.

APX 1502 supports both 4:3 conventional and 16:9 wide screen formats.

Other features include;

•

3 MIC inputs that can be mixed with the master audio signal

•

Adjustable brightness, contrast, saturation of composite or S-Video signals

•

Front panel, IR handheld and RS232 remote control

•

2 VGA outputs in parallel. Use one for main display and the other for local monitor preview.

Select VGA, C-VIDEO or S-VIDEO button first. The green LED above the button will illuminate.

Select an input 1-4. The input you select is switched to the output(s).

To change the scaled output resolutions of video signals only, select the resolution button first.

Select Input 4. This button will toggle between 4:3 format when pressed and 16:9 when pressed,

again.

4:3 format signals are listed on the first line underneath the INPUTS and reading from left are

SVGA, XGA and SXGA. Selecting one of these will set the scaled output resolution accordingly.
