Lint ﬁ lter sensor

A lint ﬁ lter sensor was introduced in August 2010. If the lint ﬁ lter is not fully seated or inserted

incorrectly in the lint ﬁ lter holder, the machine will not start. Moreover, an error message is dis-

played: "Insert ﬁ lter". The system comprises a sensor in the lint ﬁ lter holder and a magnet in the

lint ﬁ lter. When the lint ﬁ lter is correctly inserted, the magnet triggers the sensor, which closes the

circuit in the machine.
