Thread both portions of
the vehicle belt onto the
locking clip.
Position locking clip about
1 in. (2.5 cm) from vehicle
belt's buckle plate.
Rebuckle belt. Lap belt
portion should now be
tight. If not, remove
locking clip and repeat all
steps.

Failure to place this child restraint
facing with the child's head toward center
of vehicle seat
when the child is between 5-
20 lbs. (2.3-9 kg) can result in serious injury

Install side-facing. The back passenger seat
is preferred, however, the front passenger
seat is acceptable, even with an airbag, as
long as the child restraint does not
interfere with vehicle operation.

information about air bag/child restraint
use.
