Installing an Intel
1.
Locate the CP� socket on the motherboard.
2.
Press the load lever �ith your thumb �A�,
and then move it to the right ���� until it is
released from the retention tab.
To �revent damage to the socket �ins, do
not remove the PnP ca� unless you are
installing a CP�.
3.
Lift the load lever in the direction of the
arro� until the load �late is com�letely lifted.
4.
Remove the PnP ca� from the CP�
socket by lifting the tab only.
5.
Position the CP� over the socket,
ensuring that the gold triangle is on the
bottom-left corner of the socket, and then
fit the socket alignment keys into the
CP� notches.
The CPU fits in only one correct
orientation. DO NOT force the CP�
into the socket to �revent bending the
connectors on the socket and damaging
the CP�!
