Alarms And Safety Functions
This unit has alarm and safety functions, and also a self-diagnostic function.
Alarms and safety functions
Kind of Alarm
or Safety
High temperature
If the chamber temperature
alarm
exceeds the set temperature
more than –15 C.
Low temperature
If the chamber temperature
alarm
is lower 25 C than the set
temperature.
Power failure
In the event of a power
alarm
failure or disconnection of
power supply plug from the
outlet.
Door alarm
When door remains open for
more than 2 minutes.
Auto return
If a key operation is not
performed for about 90
seconds in each setting
mode.
Key lock
When the key lock is ON.
Thermal sensor
If the thermal sensor goes
abnormality
open (E10) or short circuit
(E1S).
Defrost sensor
If the defrost sensor has a
abnormality
short circuit (E2S).
Note: Defrost sensor is
present in the unit, but
the defrost sensor is not
operational.
Situation
Alarm lamp is lit.
Alarm lamp is lit.
Display shuts off.
Alarm lamp
illuminates after 2
minute delay.
Chamber
temperature is
displayed.
Alternate LOC and
actual temperature.
Either E10 or E1S is
displayed.
E2S is displayed.
Indication
Intermittent tone after
a delay of 15 minutes.
