Step 7 – Route Cables Under Playfield

The 12V Regulator needs to be mounted under the playfield. Select a suitable area in the lower 1/3 of

the playfield, remove the yellow paper from the adhesive mounts and firmly place the 12V Regulator

onto the wooden playfield.

Select the mounting area carefully, away from playfield mechanisms and allowing enough space

to connect the cables. See figure 12 for an example.

Take the free end of the Power Cable Assembly coming from the backbox and plug into the 'POWER

IN' connector on the 12V Regulator. Note that the cable is keyed and can only be connected in one

orientation.

Plug the Screen Power Cable Assembly into the 'OUT 1' connector of the 12V Regulator. Note that the

cable is keyed and can only be connected in one orientation. Plug the other end of the Screen Power

Cable Assembly into the TFT Screen red power connector.

Take the free end of the Composite Video Cable coming from the backbox and plug into the TFT

Screen yellow video connector.

Now carefully route all cables through the pinball cable supports as shown in figures 13 and 14.
