1. This knife sharpener offers an ergonomic handle and a
non-slip base, providing both comfort and safety.
2. Three slots, CERAMIC, COARSE, and FINE, make sharpening
any knife in your kitchen very convenient. What's more, the
compact design allows for easy storage.
OPERATION
Metal Knife
Place the knife sharpener on a stable surface and complete
one or both of the following steps depending on how blunt
the blade is.
Step 1: Coarse sharpening (for blunt stainless steel knives)
Use this only if your knife is very blunt. Place the knife on the
coarse sharpening slot, and using slight downward pressure,
run the blade from its heel to its point through the slot.

Notes:
1. Move the metal knife in one direction only, never backwards
and forwards.
2. Repeat three to five times.
3. Sharpen the knife every six months or as required.
Step 2: Fine honing (for stainless steel knives)
In order to polish the knife and remove excess burrs, place the
blade on the fine sharpening slot, and without using pressure,
run the blade from its heel to its point through the slot three
to five times.
Notes:
1. You can also use this step on its own to maintain a sharp
blade.
2. It's recommended to do this approximately once a week.
