To cancel the timer before the set time has run out:

The indicator light located above the (_o_ pad will glow
while the timer is active.
The timer will display hours and minutes until 1 hour
remains. Once less than 1 hour remains, the timer will
count down in minutes and seconds. Once the timer has
less than 1 minute remaining only seconds will display.

The timer does not start or stop the cooking process.
Setting
oven
lockout
The oven control may be programmed to lock
the oven door and lockout the oven control
keypad functions.
r_ Controls
To set the oven lockout
feature:
1.
Press and hold _
for 3 seconds. "Loc" will appear
in display, the "Door Locked" indicator light will flash
and the motor driven door lock will begin to close
automatically. Allow about
15 seconds for the oven
door to lock. Once the oven door is locked, the current
time of day will appear in the display.
2.
To cancel oven lockout feature, press and hold
for 3 seconds. The control will unlock the oven door
and resume normal oven operations.
• DO NOT open the oven door while the"Door Locked"
indicator light is flashing. Allow about 15 seconds for the
oven door to completely finish locking. Once the oven
door is locked, the current time of day will appear in
the display.

If any control keypad is pressed when the oven lockout
feature is active, "loc"
will appear in the display until
the control keypad is released. This indicates that the
oven lockout feature is still active.
Setting
bake
The oven may be programmed to bake at any temperature
from 170°F to 550°F (77°C to 287°C). The factory preset
automatic bake temperature is 350°F (177°C).
To set bake:
1. Press (_.
"
"appears in the display.
2.
Within 5 seconds, press the /_
or V
• The display
will show "350°F (177°C). '' By pressing and holding
the/_
or V,
the temperature
can then be adjusted
in 5°F increments (1°C if the control is set to display
Celsius).
3.
As soon as the/_
or V
pad is released, the oven
will begin heating to the selected temperature. When
the displayed temperature
reaches the desired baking
temperature,
the preheat indicator light will turn OFF.
4.
To cancel bake, press _.

To change the oven temperature
after bake has
sta rted:
1.
Press _.
Visually checkthe set bake temperature.
2.
Press the/_
keypad to increase or V
keypad to
decrease the set temperature to the desired new oven
temperature.
The oven indicator light on the electronic display will
turn ON and OFF when using the Bake feature and when
preheating. This is normal and indicates that the oven is
cycling to maintain the selected baking temperature.
When the preheat indicator light turns OFF (the control
will beep 3 times) your oven is ready.
Dark or dull pans absorb more heat than shiny
bakeware resulting in dark or overbrowning of foods. It
may be necessary to reduce the oven temperature or
cook time to prevent overbrowning of some foods. Dark
pans are recommended for pies. Shiny pans are
recommended for cakes, cookies and muffins.
