Introduction

The Vitalic Duo-T

Back Therapy Belt is an accessory designed for

ENS

use with the Duo-T

device by those who suffer from muscular tension

ENS

and lower back pain. Transcutaneous (through the skin) Electrical Nerve

Stimulation device, known as TENS, is a non-invasive therapy used to

relieve pain. Unlike strong pain medication, TENS does not cause nausea,

drowsiness or lead to dependence.

Reviewing the medical literature confirms the beneficial effects of

TENS therapy on relieving pain by stimulating muscles, nerve fibres and

acupuncture meridians to activate the body's own pain relief mechanisms.

In many instances, TENS stimulation cannot cure the cause of the pain but

aids in relieving the discomfort.
