Cause/remedy
Slowly: The door cannot currently be locked or unlocked. Waiting time
required.
Quickly: Close the door because water can flow out from the laundry.
The door cannot be opened due to programme-related technical reasons.
When the lights go off, the door can be opened.
At the end of the programme, while the door is open
After the programme has started
Before the programme starts, paused
Water pressure too low, may increase the length of the programme.
No water supply:
Turn the tap on fully,
The supply hose is kinked/trapped,

The childproof lock is activated – the programme selector has been turned or the
control panel touched.
Run the Drum Clean 90 °C programme or a 60 °C programme to clean and care
for the drum and the outer tub.
Notes
Run the programme without laundry.
Use standard washing powder or a detergent that contains bleach. To prevent
foaming, only use half the amount of detergent recommended by the detergent
manufacturer. Do not use detergents intended for woollens or delicates.
Switching the information signal on/off
Too much foam has been detected and additional rinse cycles have been activated.
Add less detergent to the next wash cycle with the same load.
At the end of the programme.
Not an appliance fault – the unbalanced load detection system has interrupted the
spin cycle because the laundry is unevenly distributed.
Distribute small and large items of laundry evenly in the drum. Spin the laundry
again if necessary.
There is water in the base trough; the appliance is leaking. Turn off the tap. Call the
