Disposal
Power tools, accessories, and packaging should be
disposed of for recycling in an environmentally friend-
ly manner.
Do not dispose of power tools in house-
hold waste!
According to the European Guide Lines
2002/96/EC for waste electric and elec-
tronic equipment and its implementation
into national law, power tools that are no longer usa-
ble must be collected separately and recycled in an
environmentally friendly manner.
Batteries
Do not attempt to disassemble
the battery or remove any com-
ponent projecting from the battery terminals.
Fire or injury may result. Prior to disposal, protect ex-
posed terminals with heavy insulating tape to prevent
shorting.
Ni-Cd: Nickel-Cadmium
Caution: These rechargeable
batteries contain cadmium, a
highly toxic heavy metal.
Do not throw batteries into
the household waste, fire or
water. Batteries should be collected, recycled or dis-
posed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
According to the Guidelines 91/157/EEC, defective
or used batteries must be recycled.
