User & Maintenance Information

Maintenance

Periodically inspect for cracks, breaks, loose parts, missing
parts, tears or cracks in mattress cover, and/or malfunctions.
Remove the product from service when any condition develops
that might make operation unsafe.
Cleaning
Wooden and plastic parts: Wipe parts, wood, teething rails,
and plastic pipes with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Do
not use excessive water.
Acrylic End Panels: Dust with a soft, damp cloth or chamois.
Wash with dishwashing detergent and plenty of lukewarm
water. Use a clean soft cloth, applying only light pressure.
Rinse with clear water and dry by blotting with a damp cloth
or chamois. DO NOT USE: Window cleaning sprays, kitchen
scouring compounds, or harsh solvents.
Mattress: We recommend a solution of household bleach
(mixed fresh daily) of ¼ cup bleach to 1 gallon of water for
cleaning.
Construction
Wooden components are manufactured from solid maple or
hardwood plywood with a clear nontoxic finish. Edges and
corners are rounded for safety and ease of cleaning.
Clear end panels are made with ¼" clear acrylic.
Teething rails and telescoping pipes are made of a rigid plastic,
and are easy to clean. Teething rails can be replaced easily.
All other plastic parts are made of durable plastic.
3" thick mattress consisting of a Polyethylene matrix core
wrapped in a natural wool, felt fire barrier. Cover fabric is
polyurethane coated knit polyester. BPA, Vinyl/PVC free. Meets
all flammability requirements without the use of added flame
retardant chemicals.

Use only replacement parts supplied by
Community Playthings.
All Community Playthings cribs meet the requirements
of ASTM F406 and 16 CFR 1220, as enforced by the
Consumer Product Safety Commission. The mattress
meets 16 CFR 1632 and 16 CFR 1633 Standard for the
Flammability (Open Flame) of Mattress Sets.
