2.0 POSITION AND ALIGNMENT

2.1 STEP 1: Adjust the 3D passive modulator gross position

Position the projector equipped with the BEST 3D passive Kit at the desired projection distance. Then adjust the
correct zoom, offset and focus to fit the screen. These adjustment are made by using the Zoom, Focus and the
vertical / horizontal Shift of the projector.
Once the picture is correctly centered and fills the screen, please use the TEST PATTERN 1b (full green pattern
with 16:9 written on it) to adjust the modulator correctly in front of the projector lens. The correct position for the
modulator is reached when the light path uses the maximum surface of the LCD window, without blocking light in
the borders. To do so, place the BEST 3D passive Kit at the maximum distance possible and moves it toward the
projector until the light path is centered and entirely contained into the LCD window.
