Before first time use

 Remove all packaging material from the

appliance.

 Clean the hot plates with a damp clean

cloth and dry thoroughly.

 Grease the plates slightly with a small

amount of cooking oil or butter.

Note: The appliance may emit a little

smoke and produce a slight odour when

first used. This is normal and will disappear

after the initial heating up process. Allow

the appliance to heat for 10 minutes

continuously to remove the substances left

on by the manufacturing process.
