For mounting in an enclosure

• Use an OnQ 28-in enclosure (363475-11) with a 28-in enclosure extender (364450-01), or

an equivalent enclosure that meets or exceeds the ventilation specifications.

• The enclosure must be mounted vertically on a ¾-inch (min.) plywood board.

• Mount the enclosure to the board using the mounting holes described in the OnQ installa-

tion instructions. In the U.S., #10 x 1.5-in sheet metal or

4 mm diameter metric screws) are recommended.

• Mount the TA-2 amplifier inside the enclosure using all four mounting holes. Use the same

hardware as recommended for mounting it directly on a plywood board. The mounting

screws must extend through the metal enclosure and into the plywood board.

• Allow 12 inches (min.) between the top of the TA-2 amplifier mounting bracket and the top

of the enclosure for proper ventilation.

• Be sure to use proper attachment techniques for your wall construction type.

• Under all operating conditions, internal ambient temperature of the enclosure should not

exceed 104ºF (40ºC).

• Check local regulations before installing or wiring the TA-2 theater amplifier. The building

code may require professional installation by a skilled technician or licensed contractor.

Regional or electrical codes may require similar qualifications for wiring the system.
