How it differs from a system source

Listening to Your Local Source

If you simply have speakers connected to a Bose SA-2 or SA-3
amplifier in the expansion room, those speakers turn on and off
with the PERSONAL

however, you have another full sound source. If an SA-3 amplifier
in your expansion room has a TV or other audio component con-
nected, that too qualifies as a local sound source.

Choosing and using your local source

This additional sound source is identified as Local in the list of
sources on your PERSONAL
Note: Local is not available when your PERSONAL
set for use in Room A.
To listen to your local source:
1. Press
2. Move up or down to highlight Local and press the center bar
This turns on the nearby system to the volume, play medium
(radio, CD, etc.), and preset (if that applies) last selected.

The display presents a general guideline for selecting local system
options (Figure 12).
