GPS MODULE (OPTIONAL)
The GPS Module is an external GPS receiver and is optional equipment. The module's cable measures 15 feet long
and uses a 9-pin female COM interface to connect to the DVR. The module has a magnetic base; however, it is
recommended that the module be secured to a surface through its screw holes. To ensure maximum functionality,
the GPS Module must be mounted in direct, unobstructed line-of-sight with the sky, such as the base of the
windshield.

Two 100Mb/s RJ45 Ethernet ports, each with their own unique IP address. These ports are for

administrative access to the DVR from your laptop using the included crossover Ethernet cable. NOTE: IF
THIS IS A '09 MODEL 500 SERIES ONE LAN PORT WILL BE LOCATED ON THE BACK AND THE OTHER ON
THE FRONT OF THE DVR FOR EASIER ACCESS.
Four camera inputs one camera per interface. Each interface provides 12V DC power to each camera.

An mDVR 502 system will have only two inputs, whereas an mDVR 504 will be equipped with four.

Digital I/O interface is used for connecting the vehicle's electrical functions to the DVR.

RS485 interface intended for a PTZ camera. This interface is not used for school bus applications.
