Explanation of the Symbols and Signal Words
Danger symbol: This symbol indicates dangers of injury.
Read through the associated safety notices carefully and
follow them.
Suitable for use with food.
WARNING
warns of possible serious injuries and danger to life
CAUTION
warns of slight to moderate injuries
NOTICE
warns of material damage
Intended Use
The pan is intended to be used to serve food.
It can be used to prepare food on all customary stove types
(gas, electric and induction stoves).
The pan is suitable for use in an oven up to max. 260°C.
The pan is not microwave-safe.
Use the pan only as described in these instructions for use. Any
other use is deemed to be improper.
The pan is for personal use only and is not intended for com-
mercial applications.
Safety Notices
WARNING – Danger of Suff ocation! Keep children and ani-
mals away from the packaging material.
CAUTION – Danger of Burns!
– Be careful when handling the hot pan. Use potholders or
oven gloves.
– Never leave it unattended in the vicinity of children or ani-
mals!
WARNING – Danger of Fire! Never leave the pan unattend-
ed on the stove while it is switched on! Hot fat / oil may catch
fi re if it is overheated. In the event of a fi re: Do not extinguish
burning fat / oil with water, but smother the fl ames with a fi re-
proof blanket or similar cloth or extinguish the fat fi re with a
suitable fi re extinguisher!
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
Do not overheat the pan, e.g. by heating it for a long time
with nothing in it! Overheating can result in material dam-
age and the production of smoke. If smoke is produced,
switch off the stove immediately, remove the pan from the hot
hob and make sure there is suffi cient ventilation in the room.
Do not use the pan if it is damaged. Check the bottom of the
pan for damage before each use! Do not use the pan if there
are scratches, score marks or uneven areas on the bottom of
the pan. Do not slide the pan over a glass ceramic hob as it
could be scratched. The manufacturer is not liable for any
damage caused by inappropriate use!
Never pour cold water into the pan when it is hot to avoid mate-
rial damage.
Only use suitable kitchen utensils (e.g. spatulas or cooking
spoons) preferably made of wood or plastic.
Do not allow the pan to drop or subject it to strong impacts.

Notices on induction stoves:
– The pan may be too small for some induction hobs. The wide
side of the pan needs to cover the induction hob.
– Never use it on an induction hob when it is empty.
– Induction stoves heat up at a faster rate than other types of
stove.
– Noises may be produced when pans are used on induction
stoves. These are caused by the electromagnetic properties
of induction stoves and induction crockery and do not consti-
tute a defect.

Check the pan and the bamboo trivet for any transport damage. If
you fi nd any damage, do not use the product but contact our cus-
tomer service department.
Before Initial Use
There may still be some production residues on the pan. Boil water
in it before you fi rst use it and wipe it dry.
Cleaning
PLEASE NOTE!
CAUTION – Danger of Burns! Allow the pan to cool down
completely before cleaning it.
The products are not dishwasher-safe. Do not soak in water to
prevent rusting.
Do not use any caustic / abrasive cleaning agents or pads.
These may damage the surface.
Rinse the products straight after use under warm running water
and wipe down with a paper towel.
Use a little detergent on stubborn dirt.
After cleaning, pour a little oil into the pan and place it on a hot hob,
allow the oil to soak in and remove any residues with kitchen towel.
Disposal
Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly
manner so that it can be recycled. The pan and the bam-
boo trivet should also be disposed of in an environmentally
friendly way.
