IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

You can use this article to chop vegetables and solid types of

fruit into strips and spirals. It is not suitable for frozen food.

■

Danger of suffocation! Keep children and animals away from

the packaging material.

■

Danger of injury! The edges are sharp! Handle the article

carefully!

■

The product is not designed to be used by individuals (includ-

ing children) with limited sensory or mental abilities or those

without sufﬁ cient experience and/or knowledge, unless they are

supervised by someone responsible for their safety or have re-

ceived instructions from them on how to use the product. Chil-

dren must be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play

with the product.

Only use fresh and, if possible, untreated food. Make sure that

the food is not rotten or mouldy.

■

There may still be some production residues on the article. To

avoid harmful effects to your health, thoroughly clean it before

you use it for the ﬁ rst time. Also clean the article immediately

after use to prevent the formation of germs!

Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning

pads for cleaning. These can damage the surface. Clean all

parts with clear, warm water and a little mild detergent. You can

also clean the inserts in the dishwasher.

Do not use the article if it is damaged!

■

Do not expose the article to extreme temperatures, strong tem-

perature ﬂ uctuations, direct sunlight or persistent moisture.

■

Maintain a sufﬁ cient distance from sources of heat, such as

hobs or ovens.

■

Use the article only as described in the instructions. Any other

use is deemed to be improper.

■

The article is for personal use only and is not intended for com-

mercial applications.

■

The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused

by improper handling, damage or unauthorised attempts at re-

pair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

Disposal

The packaging material is recyclable. Please dispose of it in

an environmentally friendly manner and take it to a recycling

centre. Dispose of the article in an environmentally friendly

manner as well.

Use

Use the two notches in the blade attachments in order to

pick them up safely and conveniently and ﬁ t them into the

article.

1. If you haven't already done so, place the collecting container

(4) on the non-slip ring (5) and stand the article on a ﬁ rm and

level surface.

2. Place the frame (3) onto the collecting container. Make sure

that the locking lug rests securely in the matching notch. Turn

the frame clockwise until it clicks into place.

3. Slide the blade insert (2) you want into the frame from above.

4. If necessary, wash and peel the food which is to be cut up. Then

place it onto the skewers. Please note: hard and/or large fruit

or vegetables should be cut in half or into quarters before you

process them.

5. Place the lid (1) on the frame and lock it into place by turning it

clockwise until it engages.

6. Hold the article with one hand, turn the crank handle. The food

will be cut up.

7. Rinse all parts immediately after use. Do not allow any food to

dry on.

8. When all parts are dry, slide two blade inserts into the collecting

container and one insert into the top of the frame.

9. Store the article in a clean, dry location that is out of the reach

of children.

Some types of vegetable or fruit may discolour the plastic

parts, e.g. beetroot. This is normal and quite safe and does

not constitute grounds for warranty claims.
