Operation
1. If you have not already done so, push the switch on the bottom
side of the candles to the ON position to turn on the candles.
2. You can then turn the individual candles off using the remote con-
trol (push the AUS (off) button for the respective candle on the
remote control) and turn it back on (push the AN (on) button for
the respective candle on the remote control).

A letter A–D has been assigned to each candle. You can
determine the letter assigned to a candle by checking
the bottom side of the candle.
•
If a candle does not directly turn on and / or off, point
the remote control towards the candle and push the
AN (on) and / or AUS (off) button again.
In the process, please keep the range of the remote
control in mind. It amounts to approximately 3–5 m.
•
The candles have a timer function: They turn off
automatically after 6 hours – even if you have not sent
this command via the remote control.
•
Turning the candles off and then back on resets the
remote control's 6 hour timer.
3. If you do not use the candles, push the candle switch to the OFF
position.
Inserting / changing batteries
Candles
Each battery compartment is located on the bottom side of the
candle. You will need two 1.5 V batteries (type AA) per candle.
1. Push the clip towards the arrow and remove the battery compart-
ment cover.
2. If applicable, take out any used batteries and insert new ones. In
the process, ensure that they are arranged with the correct polar-
ity (+ / –).
3. Return the battery compartment cover to its previous position and
push it closed so that it audibly locks into place.
Remote control
The battery compartment is located on the bottom side of the
remote control.

place it with a new one. The positive
terminal must point upwards.
3. Carefully return the battery com-
partment to its previous position
and push it into the remote control
casing until it locks into place.
Troubleshooting

Disposal

Batteries must be removed and disposed of separately before
disposing of the product. To protect the environment, bat-
teries and storage batteries may not be disposed of together
with normal household waste. Instead they must be turned in
at collection points. Also be sure to observe applicable legal
regulations on battery disposal.
