MIC-PSOS2 external microphone for the PERFECT-SOS receiver
1.GENERAL INFORMATION
MIC-PSOS2 is a dedicated external microphone for the receiver of privileged vehicles signals PERFECT-SOS. It can be used in
places with unfavorable acoustic conditions where it is necessary to mount the microphone outside.

3. INSTALLATIONOF MICROPHONE
3.1.Assembly
The external microphone is supplied in a surface-mounted housing of IP-54 tightness. It is intended for outdoor installation. Do
not mount the microphone in a place where it is difficult to receive an audible signal due to unfavorable acoustic conditions
(sound absorbing walls, other enclosures).
3.2. Electrical connection
There is a screw connector on the main board of the MIC-PSOS2 external microphone, the terminals of which must be
connected to the terminals in the PERFECT-SOS alarm signal receiver.The electrical connection should be made in accordance
with the connection diagram, fig. 1. To connect the P, L, U, Z terminals, use a twisted pair UTP cat.5 2x2x0.5mm2 with a
maximum length of 3m. To connect the M and G terminals, use the supplied coaxial microphone cable (1x0.35mm2 with a
length of no more than 3 meters).
4.STATUS LED
Information on triggering the OUT output is signaled by the status diode of the PERFECT-SOS receiver. The LED visible
through the external microphone housing is shows the same information. In standby mode, the status LED blinks. At the
moment of switching the output on, depending on the set operating mode of the receiver, the diode:
•
lights up for 1 second, then goes into standby mode (OUT 1S mode),
•
lights up permanently. Switching to standby takes place after resetting the trigger signal with the reset button (OUT
"latch" mode).
