Run the positive cable across the front of the vehicle. Detach the radiator supports to run the loom un-
derneath as shown (fig. 14) then reinstall fasteners.

Remove ground cable from winch motor and route through the bottom of the engine bay in location
shown (fig. 15).
7.
Route the battery leads toward the battery. DO NOT hook up at this time.

Install winch body (fig. 16).
A.
You will need to mount the WARN winch feet forward as opposed to feet down. To make the clutch
handle easily accessible, stand the winch up on end so the housing is straight up. Remove the 10
screws from the end housing, lift the winch up about a 1/4", and rotate it every two holes to the de-
sired position. Reinstall the screws.
B.
Start 2 AEV supplied M10 x 4" bolts at the top of the winch.
C. Start 2 WARN supplied M10 bolts at the bottom of the winch.
D. Tighten bottom bolts.

Remove top winch bolts for now.
