PA-7120
Ducking level control
Ducking level control for microphone/line input 2. When someone speaks into the microphone, other
sound will either be muted or suppressed, depending on the setting of the ducking level. The DIP
switch "Vox" (30) should be set to ON position for this function to work.
Chime level control
Turn the control to adjust chime level. In chime mode, all inputs except input 1 will be muted so that
it is possible to broadcast a message after the chime signal.
Telephone/Emergency level control
Once you have connected a telephone line or emergency alarm to the device, turn this control to
receive emergency announcements or signals (such as a fire alarm). This input has absolute priority,
and will overrule all inputs, when an emergency announcement or signal is received.
Telephone terminal connector
Use this connector to connect a telephone line. A connection to a telephone network must always
be made via a telephone coupler that provides good isoltion between the telephone network and
the amplifier.
Do not connect a telephone line and emergency alarm source at the same time.
Never make a direct connection between the telephone network
Emergency terminal connector
Use this connector to connect an emergency alarm source.
Do not connect a telephone line and emergency alarm source at the same time.
