11-Starting Wavelength: Read this register to determine SS-100 Series type
•
Returns 340 for Visible
•
Returns 635 for Near Infrared
13-Power Save Mode:
•
Writing a 1 to this register initiates Power Save Mode (default)
•
Spectroradiometer is powered down between each measurement. Decreases power consumption but
requires a minimum of 500 ms startup time before a measurement can be taken.
•
Writing a 0 in this register turns Power Save Mode Off
•
Spectroradiometer remains on between commands.
•
Allows for quicker successive measurements
15-Humidity: Reading this register returns the humidity at the time of the most recent measurement.
40-Temperature: Reading this returns the temperate in C at the time of the most recent measurement.
50-Reset Spectroradiometer: Writing to this register re-initiates communication with the spectroradiometer.

For Visible sensors this is wavelength 340. For NIR sensors this is 635.

Last Register is 1060 (481 data points) for Visible, and 1030 (466) data points) for NIR.
To save downward facing reflectance factors, these registers may be written to. Then write the number 5555.0 to the
configuration register to store these values as the reflectance factors.
