bagel waffles
Yield: 8-10 waffles
Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp baking powder
4 tbsp melted unsalted butter
Directions:
1.
Mix together whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour and baking powder in a
mixing bowl with ¼ cup everything bagel spice.
2.
Whisk together milk, seltzer and egg in a separate bowl. While whisking,
slowly drizzle melted butter into the mix.
3.
Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk until no clumps remain.
Do not overmix the batter.
4.
Add 3.5 tbsp of batter to your Mini Waffle Maker. Sprinkle remaining
everything bagel spice on top and shut the lid. Cook until surface is firm on
both sides.
1 large egg
¼ cup everything bagel spice
½ cup milk
½ cup seltzer or club soda
