Possible cause

 Is the battery empty or inserted the

wrong way around?

 Is the scale located on a firm, even

surface?

 Is a device that can cause

electromagnetic disturbances located in

the vicinity of the scale?

 Remove the battery from the scales and

wait a moment. Reinsert the battery.

 The maximum capacity of the scale (180

kg) has been exceeded.

 The battery is empty (see "Inserting/

changing the battery").
