bottom area of the freezer. When the ice cubes are
ready, hold the ice tray under a running tap, then the ice
cubes can be easily removed.
Making Ice cream:

few minutes before use.
9.Preparing for Vacation
For long vacation or period of non-use, unplu g the
appliance and clean it as described in " Cleaning and
Maintenance". Leave the doors open to prevent formation
of mildew or odours.
10. Cleaning and Maintenance
Unplug or disconnect the appliance before cleaning.
Keep the exterior clean. Use furniture polish to clean the
outside regularly (do not use for the interior!). Wipe the
door gasket with a cloth lightly dampened with lukewarm
water. Do not use detergent. Never use oil or grease to
clean the door gasket.
Clean the inside regularly!
· We recommend that you clean the freezer on a monthly
basis.
· Remove food from the freezer and keep these foods in a
cool place.
· Remove all detachable parts.
· Interior parts are not suitable to be washed in a
dishwasher. Wash them manually using lukewarm water
and a gentle detergent. Do not use concentrated
detergent, abrasive agents and chemicals such as
acids. Mild washing up liquid is recommended.
Steam cleaners are dangerous and strictly prohibited.
Wash the inner compartment with lukewarm clean water
and dry with a soft cloth. It is absolutely dry after waiting
for 3-4 minutes. Ensure water does not get into electric
parts in the appliance.
If a condenser is mounted on the back of refrigerator, dust
and lint should be removed regularly to enable efficient
heat dissipation and avoid excessive power consumption.
Use a soft brush or a duster to clean the outside of heat
exchanger.
The defrost water drains away through the drain hole. This
should be cleaned regularly using a cotton bud or similar.
Ensure water doesn't run down the drain hole during
cleaning, otherwise water may spill or splash on the
ground due to evaporation.
11. Defrosting
The freezer should be defrosted regularly. Defrost the
freezer whenever the thickness of ice layer reaches 5cm.
Unplug the appliance before defrosting. Remove food from
the freezer and keep these foods in a cool place. Use an
ice scraper to remove the ice. To speed up the process,
place a bowl of hot water in the bottom of the cabinet.
Clean the appliance and plug back into the wall socket.
POTENTIAL SAFETY HAZARD!
Do not use electric devices such as hair dryers,
electrical fans, steam cleaners, defrost sprays or
naked flames (eg. candle) to defrost the freezer. The
plastic parts of the interior may melt and any spark or
naked flame may cause fire in presence of explosive
gas. Never use a steam cleaner to defrost the freezer
– danger of electric shock!)
