HOW TO USE THE BWI900
3.1 Power On/Off
Press and hold the "Power" button longer than 2 seconds to turn the device powers on/off.
3.2 Volume Up/ Down
Press "▲" button to control volume up and
"▼" button for volume down after turn the
device powers on.
The display shows volume set level 03
initially.
Receive volume can be adjusted between
levels 0~8.
3.3 Group/Channel selection
Press and hold the "Mode" button till "Setting
Mode" is displayed.
Select the Group number "00"~"24" for
900Mhz BWI900 devices, by press the "▲" or
"▼" button.
Long press the "Mode" button to keep the
Group number you selected.
All equipment/belt packs must have the same Group number to communicate with each
other within the group. 24 separate channels/Groups are available for the BWI900.
3.4 ID selection
In a group, each BWI900 terminal needs to
have a unique ID per device from "00" to "09"
(or ID"00" to ID"05"). (Please note a long-
range Firmware option provides up to 5 ID
codes. Should you require up to 10 codes the
Firmware will need to be changed).
The ID "00" becomes a Master device in a
group and every group needs to have the ID.
"00" terminal ID, the network will not be established without the ID00 allocation.
ID00~ID08 (ID01~ID04) are serving full duplex communications simultaneously.
The ID "09" (ID05) is operated by anyone using the PTT and can talk via an open
slot.
