BATTERIES AND THE ENVIRONMENT

The accompanying batteries can be recharged

at least 500 times, when it is time to replace the

batteries, please consider the environment.

The EPA certified RBRC

Seal on the nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery

indicates that Active Products is voluntarily

participating in an industry program to collect

and recycle these batteries at the end of their

useful life, when taken out of service in the

United States or Canada. The RBRC

provides a convenient alternative to placing

used Ni-Cd batteries into trash or the munici-

pal waste stream. Please call 1-800-822-8837

for information on Ni-Cd battery recycling and

disposal bans/restrictions in your area. Active

Products' involvement in this program is part

of our commitment to preserving our environ-

ment and conserving our natural resources.

WARRANTY

This Active Products equipment carries a one

(1) year limited warranty against defects in man

ufacturing workmanship, and a one-year limited

warranty on the batteries and accessories.

Battery Recycling

This Limited Warranty shall be limited to the

repair or replacement of parts which prove

defective under normal use and service and

which on examination shall indicate, to Active

Product's satisfaction, they are defective. Active

Products reserves the right to request the

return of defective parts. Shipping charges may

apply. Before returning any parts, contact us

by visiting www.activeproducts.com. If

Active Products conﬁrms the defect and

approves the claim, Active Products will elect to

replace such parts without charge.

The foregoing warranty does not apply to

defects resulting from faulty installation, oper-

ation, disassembly, alterations or remodeling,

or misuse, misapplication, neglect, abuse, acci-

dent, tornado, hurricane, and earthquake; or

lack of proper maintenance, cleaning and care.

Warranty will not apply if this product is used

for commercial or rental purposes. This war-

ranty shall not extend to anyone other than

the original purchaser of this product.

Should this product become defective within

the stated warranty period, do not return to store,

but contact us at www.activeproducts.com

The warranty card is not a replacement for the

proof of purchase. Please keep your proof of

purchase in a secure place.
