The GB3585 and the GB3585(A) are hydraulic installation tools designed specifically for the efficient installation of 1/2" - 3/4" diameter
pintail-style lockbolts only. They have a pintail ejector to eject broken pintails from the nose assembly.
It weighs just over 19 lbs. (18.6 kg). and can be operated in any position. It has a 1.810" (46 mm) fastener stroke and a rated pull load
of 45,668 lbs. (203 kN) @ 7,400 psi. (510 bar).
The GB3585 electric actuated installation tool operates on hydraulic pressure developed by the GB940 or equivalent power unit set at
7,400 psi (510 bar) maximum PULL pressure and 2,200 psi. (152 bar) maximum RETURN pressure. The tool comes equipped with
3 feet (.91 m) of hydraulic hoses and couplings, electric switch and cord.
The GB3585(A) air actuated installation tool operates on hydraulic pressure developed by the GB910, GB912 or equivalent power unit
set at 7,400 psi (510 bar) maximum PULL pressure and 2,200 psi. (152 bar) maximum RETURN pressure. The tool comes equipped
with 3 feet (.91 m) of hydraulic hoses, swivels and couplings, air actuator and tube.
ALL GAGE BILT HYDRAULIC INSTALLATION TOOLS ARE COMPATABLE WITH HUCK® POWERUNITS. NOSE ASSEMBLIES ARE
NOT FURNISHED WITH THESE TOOLS AND MUST BE ORDERED SEPARATELY. (See nose assembly selection chart on pg. 15).
