DESCRIPTION

The YAV90CIN module is designed to cover the need to control the available power supplies
and loads in a test system.
All relay contacts have a 10 mOhm shunt resistor allowing current measurement without circuit
interruption; shunt voltage must be measured with an external device.
The board features four connectors in the back (J01 ... J04), meant to route the external power
sources and loads to the fixture, through relays K5 to K12. Relays K1 to K4 are designed for
internal fixture applications.
The plug-in terminal block X01 is used to power the board and to connect it to the CAN network.
The plug-in terminal block X02 is used to disconnect all the relays when needed (Enable
function). This contact is usually in series with the Tester safety system (emergency stop safety
chain) to guarantee a fast disconnection of all loads and power supplies to the DUT when
necessary.
Each one of the module front pins are connected to the fixture through relays or directly to the
rear connectors. Therefore, the fixture designer has the option to connect the power supplies
terminals directly to the fixture or through a relay.
