When transporting the drill, transport locks should always be used. This will prevent
damage to the drill and possible personal injury should hydraulic failure occur.
A) To install transport locks place the channel over the cylinder rods and install pin
with retainer clip. Both cylinders need the channel locks installed.
B) Always disengage the lockout hub before transporting the drill.

ADJUSTMENT BEFORE GOING TO THE FIELD
1) Hitching the drill to the tractor.
A) When hitching the 3P605NT to the tractor, make sure that the tractor has the
right amount of front weight. Remove the tractor draw bar or damage will occur
to the drive wheel of the drill. Lower the tractor's three-point arms and back up
to the drill. Pin the upper arm to the center link of the drill. Pin the lower arms to
the drill, raise the drill and watch for any interference at the tractor. If the front of
tractor is light, add additional front weights.
B) Hitching the 605NT to the tractor. With the drill lowered and tongue jack in the
parking position, level the tongue, then back the tractor to the drill hitch, match
the tractor drawbar height to the drill tongue by moving the hitch height
adjustment as needed.
