4. Installation
The following sequence of installation steps is recommended as a general outline and a good place to start as we understand each job will have
a unique set of circumstances. Refer to the WRM and CCU Installation Guides for more detailed step.
Location
See Section 3 Design Principles for power strategies.
1. Locate where each WRM is mounted and measure 5' up from the floor to cut a 1.5" hole to install
WRM.
a. The WRM can be installed in an existing junction box. DO NOT USE METAL BRACKETS AS
THIS INTERFERES WITH WIRELESS RADIO SIGNALS.
2. Install the CCU at its designated location using the provided mounting bracket.
3. Install the power supply (in an electrical box is recommended) in a strategic location to supply power to all 75F components. Be sure the
box is not on a lighting circuit. Don't turn on the power supply until you complete wiring all components of the system.
Powering the System
4. Install single gang boxes within 15' of each WRM. (Recommended, not
required)
5. Lay the bus line from the power supply so they pass through all of the
single gang boxes that are installed near each WRM.
6. Run a power line between the bus line (starting in each single gang box)
to the WRM. Run a designated power line from the RPS to the CCU. It
should not exceed 50 feet.
