Wing Box Alignment:
1) Place blocks ahead of the wing gauge wheels.
2) Pull forward against the blocks to rock the wing
frames back.
3) Pull forward until the stop bolts (1) are firmly
against the folding arms.
4) Run a string line across the back of the drill toward
the outer ends of the wings. Make sure the string is
parallel to the center box and both measurements (2)
are equal.
5) For proper alignment, the outside ends (3) of the
wing boxes should be about 1 to 1-1/4 inch ahead of
the inside ends (4).
6) To adjust the box alignment, shorten or lengthen
the stop bolts to change the contact point with the
tool bars. Loosen the jam nut and adjust the stop
bolts in or out until the outside ends of the boxes are
1 to 1-1/4 inch ahead of the inside ends.
7) Tighten the jam nut.
