How To Lower Drill For Unfolding:
Note The drill must be lowered before unfolding.
1) Park the tractor and drill on level ground and put
the tractor in park. Make sure there is enough clear-
ance to unfold the drill.
2) Confirm that the selector valve is set for transport.
3) Slowly extend the lift cylinders. Set the hydraulic
lever to off. Move the center transport lift handle up to
FIELD position to release the transport lock.
4) Slowly lower the drill. Keep the hydraulic engaged
until the tongue cylinder and two lift cylinders are
completely retracted. Set the hydraulic circuit to neu-
tral.
How To Unfold The Drill Once Lowered:
1) Verify that the opener frames are still raised and
locked up (handles in ROAD position).
2) Slowly unfold the wing frames by completely
extending the fold cylinders.
3) If operating in the field, place all six opener lock
handles in FIELD position.
4) Completely raise the openers to allow the opener
locks to disengage.
How To Fold Drill:
The following applies to BD7600(HD)-26
Transport lift is on a dedicated hydraulic circuit, and is
used before folding. It raises and lowers inde-
pendently of the opener frames. The transport lift cir-
cuit also includes two cylinders on the wing arms
which lift the wings when folding.
1) Park the tractor and drill on level ground with
enough clearance to fold the drill. Put the tractor in
park.
2) Fold markers if installed. Return selector valve han-
dle to FOLD position.
3) Position all opener lock handles (1) in ROAD posi-
tion (2) and completely raise
opener lock handles are spring loaded and can be
moved to ROAD position with openers up or down, but
the locks only engage when the openers are com-
pletely raised.
4) Extend the transport lift cylinders.
