Step 1
Ensure the lift platform is completely level with the floor or landing where you reside.
Refer to the Installation Manual to adjust the platform to the Landing height as
needed. Only proceed when the platform is completely level to the floor or landing
on which you reside.
Step 2
Lift the latch to unsecure and open the gate and proceed to enter the lift platform
area.
Step 3
Be sure to re-secure the latch to lock the gate. For a wheelchair, make sure the
wheelchair is completely within the platform area and that all wheels are locked. I f
you are standing, make sure your body is completely within the lift platform area,
stand still, and hold firmly onto the platform rails.
Step 4
Press the appropriate UP or DOWN button on the controller to raise or lower the lift
until it is completely level with the landing or floor onto which you wish to exit.
Step 5
Unlock the wheels on the wheelchair, unsecure the latch and open the gate, and exit
the lift platform onto your destination floor or landing.
Step 6
Re-secure the lift gate in the closed position.
A COMMON ADJUSTMENT
➔ If your lift platform will not go down under only its own weight, OR
➔ if you have more platform side-to-side wobble than you would like ,
then please read the following:
It is critical that the four (4) adjustment bolts across the back of the collar are
adjusted properly. These adjustments bolts require 9/16" wrenches.
These bolts have self-locking nuts. These self-locking nuts do NOT need to be tight in
order to stay on. If any these four nuts are too tight the platform may not descend as
the hoist pays out the wire rope. If this happens, the hoist may produce several
