4.1 Remote Control Functions

The Remote Control allows you to control the hose from a distance up to 150 feet, as well as allows you to program and perform
functions only possible with the Remote Control. For best results when programming the Remote Control, point it toward the Hose Reel
and have the Hose Reel in your line of sight.
NOTE: The Remote Control is sealed to protect it from water, and the battery is not replaceable. Please contact us at 888-GR8-STUFF
(888-478-7883) to purchase a replacement Remote Control or email us at [email protected].
NOTE: The Hose Reel may not function properly in areas that have water pressure greater than 80 PSI. If the water pressure in your
area exceeds 80 PSI, a water regulator may be required for the Hose Reel to function correctly.
Water Button
The Water button is a toggle button that turns the water on and off.
If the hose is retracting, pressing the Water button stops the wind and turns on the water.
As a safety and conservation feature if only the Water Button is pressed, the water will remain on for one (1) hour. After one
(1) hour, the water will automatically turn off. To resume the flow of water simply push the Water Button again. This insures
that if a hose if left on and unattended it will not waste water. To program water to run unattended for more than one hour see
section 4.2.
The Water button also sets a watering program. (see section 4.2)
Pressing the Water button while a watering program is active cancels the program.
EXAMPLE: If water is running as a result of a Timer setting, pressing the Water button turns it off and cancels the program. If, however,
water is off because a daily watering schedule has not yet started, pressing the Water button cancels the program and turns on the
water.
