CLEANING

AND MAINTENANCE

• Before attempting any maintenance

job, unplug the appliance from the

power mains socket.

• To clean the appliance, strictly use a

cloth dampened in water. Do not use

detergents or solvents which could

damage the plastic surface.

• To improve operation and lengthen

the life of the appliance, we advise

you to use demineralised water.

• In case of faults or malfunctions, nev-

er try to repair the appliance by dis-

mantling it, but contact Gaggia's

Authorised Service Centres only.

The appliance is supplied with ther-

mal protection device - if it is tripped,

it must be replaced in Gaggia's

Authorised Service Centres only.

• If the power cable or monotube have

to be replaced, contact Gaggia's

Authorised Service Centres only.

• For all repairs, use Gaggia original

spare parts only.

• Do not throw the protective packing

materials (for transport) into domestic

refuse. We advise you to keep them

for possible transport in the future.

• For disposal, make the appliance

unserviceable by cutting the power

lead. Deliver the out-of-service appli-

ance to a suitable collection centre.
