Positioning
Place the product so that it is exposed to full sunlight at least 6 hours per day. Battery charging and lighting
up are reduced in the shade. The product can switch off automatically if put near strong sources of light,
such as street lamps. Duration of light depends on solar product's level of sunlight exposure, geographical
locations, weather conditions and the hours of daylight.
Ground stakes (optional, not provided)
To easily insert stakes into the ground, it is recommended to wet the ground first. To avoid damaging garden
stakes when inserting into the ground, select a spot in soft, rock-free soil. Insert the base of the stake first
then gently insert the rest of the stake into the base. DO NOT push directly against the solar cell or the
ornament housing containing the actual LED light.
Using for the first time
Put the power switch in the ON position.
The protective paper must be removed from the battery on some models. The product is controlled
automatically by a light sensor. The product switches on automatically at sunset and runs on the energy
stored in the battery. Switch off the product, or replace the protective paper, so save energy. If the product
does not light up automatically at sunset, check:
1. That the switch is in the ON position.
2. That the solar panel is in a position where it is exposed to direct sunlight.
CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:
Always switch off and remove batteries when not in use.
Do NOT immerse in water.
Do NOT use abrasive cleaners or sharp utensils to clean.

Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
Battery disposal, spent or expired batteries must be properly disposed of and recycled in compliance
with local regulations. For detailed information, contact your local authority.
Follow the battery manufacturer's safety, usage, and disposal instructions.
