Explanation of the graphic symbols

The symbol with the flash in an equilateral triangle warns the

owner about potentially dangerous high voltage inside the

electronic device. This indicates that a possible risk of a

dangerous electric shock exists.

The symbol with the exclamation point in the equilateral

triangle alerts the user to important service and maintenance

instructions in this owner's operation manual for the Contour

SUB.

To avoid electric shock, never open this subwoofer. Any service of the internal

parts and components of the Contour SUB should only be performed by

dealer(s) or personnel authorized by Dynaudio.

Setup

Under no circumstances should the subwoofer be placed near water.

Do not position the subwoofer in direct proximity of radiators, chimneys,

stoves, ovens or any other devices or equipment that produce or emit heat.

This would also include hot-running power amplifiers.

Do not cover your subwoofer, but be sure that it always has sufficient ventilation

to avoid overheating.
