OPERATION
The hood is supplied with a multispeed motor.
The hood should be run at low speed under normal conditions and at
higher speeds only when there is a heavy build-up of fumes or odours.
Ideally, the hood should be switched on as soon as cooking is started
and then kept on until all odours have been eliminated.
Remote Control Functions
ON-OFF ASPIRATOR
ON-OFF LIGHTING
INCREASE ASPIRATOR SPEED
DECREASE ASPIRATOR SPEED
When turned on, the aspirator is positioned at the second speed. The
motor speed is indicated by the lighting of the respective green LED
(ref. pos. 1-2-3-4). At the fourth speed (intensive, ref. pos. 4), the LED
flashes and after 5 minutes the motor returns to the third speed
automatically.
Remote control encoding
The supplied remote control is already encoded and can be used from
the beginning for the total control of the hood.
To encode another remote control, hold the button "P" on the hood for 4
seconds until the programming red LED lights up, at this point press
immediately after the On / Off aspirator.
When the red LED turns off, the programming is closed and you cannot
no longer program the remote control.
Safety switch
In case the remote control is lost or out of batteries, the appliance shall
be switched off pushing the "P" button.
Restoring Factory Conditions (Reset)
Hold down the "P" button until the red LED lights up and continue to
press the button without releasing until the LED turns off by itself. At this
point no remote control will be coupled and it will be necessary to pair
one again.
Grease filter maintenance warning
The electronic control report, after 100 hours of operation, with the
flashing of the LEDs, for 30 seconds at shutdown of the hood, the need
for cleaning of the grease filters. To reset the counter, after cleaning the
filters, while the flashing warning press the "+" on the remote control
until shutdown.
MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the hood from the mains before carrying out any
maintenance or cleaning operation.
All the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance can be performed
without having to remove the hood.
Particular attention should be paid to metal grease filters, which have
the function of retaining the fat particles contained in the vapours. The
metal grease filters must be washed at least every month or, if present
in this model, when indicated by the electronic warning, in hot water and
detergent (even in the dishwasher). Filters may become discoloured
after a few washes. This is normal and does not mean that they must
be replaced. To remove the metal grease filters act on the special
handle (Fig. 10). It is recommended to refit the metal grease filters only
if they are perfectly dry.
WARNING: the grease retained by the metal filters is easily
inflammable. It is therefore necessary to regularly clean the filters
according to the instructions.
The activated carbon filters, if present, have the function of retaining the
smells present in the cooking fumes. The air is released into a purified
environment. The activated carbon filters must not be washed and must
be replaced 3 or 4 times a year in accordance with the use of the hood.
Request the filters from the manufacturer.
To replace the activated carbon filters, remove the steel motor
protection panel, positioned centrally between the metal filters: the
locking is performed with magnetic closures, it is sufficient to exert a
modest manual force, without the aid of tools. At this point the activated
carbon filters can be removed by rotating them about 90 ° with respect
to their position to release them from the interlocking tabs, then
accompanying the filter downwards, without the aid of tools. Fig. 11-12-
13-14.
To reinstall the new activated carbon filters, reverse the operations.
The hood must be cleaned immediately after installation and removal of
the protective in order to eliminate any residual glue or other impurities
of any kind.
The hood must be cleaned frequently both internally and externally (at
least once a month).
Do not allow dirt to accumulate on the outer and inner surfaces of the
hood.
Do not use acid or basic products or abrasive sponges to clean the
outer shell of the hood.
Clean the hood with a sponge dampened with warm water and a
modest amount of neutral soap (for example dish soap) in order to
eliminate any grease particles deposited on it.
Rinse with a damp cloth carefully removing all the soap, following the
satin-finish direction of the steel surface.
Particularly important is the drying especially in the areas where the
water has a high hardness and leaves limestone deposits.
The hood is equipped with LED lighting which, in addition to offering
good lighting and significant energy savings, guarantees an average
duration 10 times longer than traditional lamps. In the event of
replacement, contact the after-sales service.
All ordinary and extraordinary maintenance can be performed without
having to uninstall the hood.
