Locate the join between the case and the damper
(red line).

Wipe away any dirt or excess grease from the shock
with tissue paper.

Insert the toothpick between two turns at the end of
the spring and apply the grease to the join highlighted
in the previous step.

Mark the stage number on the bags the screws came in,
and store them until needed.

Firmly grasp the shock absorber at each end. Push the
ends closer together and then release. This will spread
the grease.
Stage complete
