Problem
There is too much frost and
ice.

Possible cause
The room temperature is
too high.
Food products placed in
the appliance were too
warm.
The door is not closed cor-
rectly.
The door is not closed cor-
rectly or the gasket is de-
formed/dirty.
The water drainage plug is
not correctly positioned.
Food products are not
wrapped properly.
Temperature is set incor-
rectly.
During the automatic de-
frosting process, frost melts
on the rear plate.
The water outlet is clog-
ged.
Food products prevent
that water flows into the
water collector.
The melting water outlet is
not connected to the evap-
orative tray above the
compressor.
The temperature regulator
is not set correctly.
The door is not closed cor-
rectly.
Solution
Refer to climate class chart on
the rating plate.
Allow food products to cool to
room temperature before stor-
ing.

Position the water drainage
plug in the correct way.
Wrap the food products bet-
ter.
Refer to "Operation" chapter.
This is correct.
Clean the water outlet.
Make sure that food products
do not touch the rear plate.
Attach the melting water outlet
to the evaporative tray.
Set a higher/lower tempera-
ture.
