Problem
Cause
Liquid with properties
other than water (density,
viscosity).
Incorrect
aspiration.
The volume adjustment
knob used in the "CAL"
mode.
If the problem continues after carrying out the above steps,
contact your Corning representative.
Before returning the pipettor, please ensure the pipettor
is completely free of any chemical, radioactive, or
microbiological contamination which could pose a threat
during transport and repair.

Solution
Calibrate the pipettor
using the liquid which
is to be pipetted.
Calibrate the pipettor
according to Section 9.
12. Spare Parts
Contact Corning Customer Service to inquire about
availability of spare parts. Pipettor model and name of the
part required should be specified.
NOTE: The replacement of the plunger requires conducting
the calibration procedure according to Section 9.
