5. Vorbereiten der Kabel

5.1 Ungeschnittenes Kabel

Kabelmantel nach lokaler Vorschrift

auf einer Länge von Maß C (Tabelle 1

„Technische Daten") absetzen. Kabel

im Dichtungsbereich reinigen.

5.2 Zentralelement auf eine Länge

von 45 mm kürzen.

5.3 Eine Markierung 80 mm von der

Absetzkante auf dem Kabelmantel

anbringen.

5.4 Kabelmantel im Bereich der

Dichtzonen (ca. 150 mm) mit dem

Reinigungstuch von Schmutz und

Fett säubern.

Kabel im gereinigten Bereich mit

Schmirgelleinen aufrauhen.

5.5 Achtung: Vor dem Einführen der

Kabel in den Dichtungskörper müssen

die Schrumpfschläuche auf die Kabel

geschoben werden.

5. Preparing the Cables

5.1 Uncut Cable

Strip cable sheath as per local

practice to a length of dimension C

(Table 1 "Technical data"). Clean

cable in sealing area.

5.2 Shorten central member to a

length of 45 mm.

5.3 Make a mark on the cable sheath

80 mm from the stripped edge.

5.4 Clean dirt and grease from the

cable sheath in the area of the sealing

zones (about 150 mm) using the

cleaning cloth.

Scuff the cable in the cleaned area

using emery cloth.

5.5 Caution: Before inserting the

cables in the end cap, slide the

heatshrink tubes onto the cables.
