INSTRUCTION FOR USE
- The first time that you set the sterilizer in operation, lift up the lid "C" and pour the
quarz spheres supplied into the crucible, and the re-close the lid "C".
- Connect the sterilizer up to a supply socket that corresponds to the data given on
the label (as referred to above, in the "General Warnings").
- During heating, it is compulsory to keep the lid "C" colosed to prevent any
accidental or undersirable burns.
-Press the main switch "A" located on the front. The green light indicates that the
sterilizer is powered up, whilst the warning light "D" located above it indicates that
the apparatus is heating up.
- Leave the sterilizer in this position until the warning light "D" switches off. Now the
apparatus has reached the temperature of 250°C required for sterilization. Lift up the
lid "C" and insert the implements to be sterilized ( take care owing to the high
temperature) for approximately 5 to 10 seconds. Remove the implements and re-close
the lid "C". The warning light "D" will light up flashing to indicate that the sterilizing
temperature is maintained inside the apparatus.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
- Make sure not to operate the apparatus if the quartz spheres are not in the
crucible.
- Before moving the apparatus, make sure that it is disconnected from the main
socket.
- Take care not to turn the apparatus, make sure that it is disconnected from the
mains socket.
- Do not touch the quartz spheres and the crucible either during or after opera-
tion in order to avoid accidental or undesirable burns.
- When the apparatus is operating, make surenot to rest towels, cloths, etc. on
the top of it, but leave the apparatus free so that air can circulate from the slits
provided in the top.
- Do not insert any plastic, wooden or bone parts, ect. , in hte apparatus, but
only metal parts. For example, to insert a file with a plastic handle, make sure
that when you insert the metal part of the implement the handle remains out-
side of the crucible and does not touch the quartz spheres.
-Do not leave implements to be sterilized inside the apparatus when this
operating beyond the time necessary for sterilization so as not to damage the
implements.
- Always disconnect the apparatus from the power supply socket at the end of
the day or when it is not likely to be used for a certain period of time.
