Tracker MT16™ — User Guide

Ethernet 10/100 Megabits Per Second (Mbps)

The Tracker MT16 has a built in high speed Ethernet port to connect to wired

network(s) up to 100Mbps. The advantage of a wired network is higher upload and

download receive and transfer rates to the Internet. In addition, this port can

be used for software updates and can be used to stream audio files real-time

to a network storage device. To connect your Tracker MT16 via Ethernet, see below.

Menu Top

Settings → Network → Ethernet

DHCP: ON (all network configuration is automatic)

DHCP: OFF (all network configuration is manually entered, see your network

administrator for more details)

Static IP: (from your router)

Static IP mask: (from your router)

Static Gateway: (from your router)

Static DNS: (from your router)

Status

The Tracker MT16 has a status menu for all devices connected to the Internet.

It provides software revision numbers, SD memory space availability and unique MAC

addresses.

Settings → Status

DHCP: OFF or ON

WiFi: OFF or ON

WiFi IP: (the IP address provided by a network when DHCP is on)

Eth IP: (the IP address provided by a network or manually added by the user)

IP Mask: (the IP mask provided by a network or manually added by the user)

Default Gateway: (the default gateway or router provided

by a network or manually added by the user)

DNS (domain name server IP address)

Eth MAC addr: (the unique WiFi MAC address of the Tracker MT16)

WiFi MAC

Code rev: (Current software code installed in the Tracker MT16)

SD Memory (Available memory for recording)
