safe usage instructions
1. study, understand, and follow all instructions
before operating this device.
2. Do not exceed rated capacity.
3. Use only on hard, level surface.
4. Apply load as close to the hydraulic cylinder as
possible.
5. Assure that the load cannot tilt while lowering or
moving.
6. Before moving, center the load and secure it with
the chain. Then lower to the lowest possible point.
7. no alterations shall be made to this product.
8. Failure to follow these warnings may result in loss
of load, personal injury and/or property damage.
Assembly
Oil mechanical parts before first use, and then
regularly.
Use
Lifting: centre the wheel removal trolley around the
load and operate the pumping pedal.
Lowering: slowly turn the release handle (33) counter
clockwise. The release will close automatically when
letting go of the handle.
Transport: before transportation, lower and centre the
load, and fasten it with the chain (15).
Maintenance
Maintenance and repair must always be carried out
by qualified personnel. Always use genuine jack
manufacturer supplied parts only.
Daily: check the wheel removal trolley for damages.
Monthly: lubricate moving parts with high-quality oil.
Grease end of pump piston (27).
Oil refill and check: lower the lifting frame to lowest
position and remove the cylinder filler plug (24).
Correct oil level is to lower edge of hole for filler plug.
You may have to refill with an oilcan.
Quantity of oil: 0,8 l. Any good hydraulic oil with
viscosity IsO VG 15 can be used.
Never use brake fluid!
Safety inspection
In accordance with national legislation - minimum
once a year though - the wheel removal trolley must
be inspected by an expert: bottom and lifting frame for
damages and abnormal wear and tear, greasing and
oiling, hydraulic unit for leaks.
Possible faults and how to overcome them
1. The wheel removal trolley does not lift to maximum
position but does hold the load: check oil level.
2. Bad pump function (half strokes only): there is
vacuum in the reservoir due to too much oil. lower
the lifting frame completely and let surplus oil drain
at filler plug (24).
3. The load is dropping: verify that the release is
properly closed. Pre tension of the spring (35) is
max. half a turn. If the load is still dropping the
hydraulic unit needs repair (leaking non-return
valves in the pump or worn seals).
Spare parts
Replace worn or broken parts with genuine jack
manufacturer supplied parts only. All major parts may
not be provided after discontinuation of the model.
Destruction
Oil must be drained off and legally disposed of.
