Garmin GPS 175 Service Bulletin
PURPOSE
GPS 175/GNX 375/GNC 355 Main Software Version 3.10 contains the following changes:
•
Adds support for additional FIS-B weather products:

G-AIRMET

Cloud Tops
◦
Lightning
◦
Center Weather Advisories
•
Updates NEXRAD "No Coverage" overlay to be semi-transparent
•
Adds support for database SYNC for transferring databases between Garmin displays – transfer
and receive from any GI 275, GPS 175, GNX 375, or GNC 355 and receive only from G500 TXi/
G600 TXi
•
Improves availability for advisory guidance on LNAV approaches in areas without SBAS coverage
•
Fixes a problem where GAE 12 calibration was limited to 6 points
•
Adds Altitude Source Input Configuration setting to GPS 175 and GNC 355 to prevent nuisance
messages when connected to Sandel 3308/3500/4500
•
Fixes an issue with GNC 355 carrier squelch setting. It is now applied when the value is changed
•
Adds GI 275 support
•
Adds Remote Radio Control Format 1 for GNC 355
•
ARINC 429 labels are transmitted when in config mode
DESCRIPTION
This modification consists of accessing the Garmin website and uploading GPS 175/GNX 375/GNC 355
Main Software Version 3.10 to the GPS 175, GNX 375 or GNC 355.

APPROVAL
GPS 175/GNX 375/GNC 355 Main Software Version 3.10 is TSO authorized.
Refer to the GPS 175 TSO Installation Manual (190-02207-00), GNX 375 TSO Installation Manual (190-
02207-04), or GNC 355 TSO Installation Manual (190-02488-00) for additional approvals. The change
from GPS 175/GNX 375/GNC 355 Main Software Version 3.03 is minor per 14 CFR 21.619.
DOCUMENTATION CONSIDERATIONS
The GPS 175/GNX 375/GNC 355 SW V3.10 Upgrade Supplement (190-02488-02) Rev A is to be provided
to the owner/operator when the update is complete.
