USING THE BINDER
Part Number Content
The documents contained in the G1000 Pilot' s Guide
binder are subject to change in both part numbers and
revision levels. In order to ensure that the G1000 Pilot' s
Guide binder contains the most current document part
numbers and revision levels, please refer to the Record
of Part Numbers presented in the Front Matter portion of
the binder.
Page Numbering Format
General
Page numbering is of the following format:
" a - b "
where
a = binder document tab number
b = page number within the said document
For example, page number "5-3" represents the third
page of the document located under the fi fth tab of the
G1000 Pilot' s Guide binder – namely, the G1000 VHF
NAV/COM Pilot' s Guide.
NOTE: Page numbering for the Front Matter por-
tion G1000 Pilot's Guide binder is presented in
Roman numerals without a prefi x. For example,
page "ii" represents the second page of the Front
Matter portion of the binder.

Appendices
Page numbering for the Appendices refl ects each ap-
pendix alphabetical level and is thus of the following
format:
" c - d "
where
c = appendix alphabetical level
d = page number within the said appendix
For example, page "B-3" represents the third page of
Appendix B.
Index
Page numbering for the Index portion of G1000 Pilot' s
Guide binder is of the following format:
"I- e "
where
e = page number within the Index
Section Numbering Format
Section numbering is of the following format:
" a . f "
where
a = binder document tab number
f = section number within the said document
For example, "8.2" corresponds to the second section
of the document located after the eighth tab of the G1000
Pilot' s Guide binder – namely, the G1000 Multi Function
Display Pilot' s Guide.
